Register for a MyInterskill training account (existing customers)

Congratulations! If you have been informed you are already entitled to a mainframe training license through a company subscription, you can register for an account here. Registrations will be activated within two business days.

Question 2

Receiving your multi-step authentication (MFA) login code

Accepted Answer

MyInterskill supports multi-step authentication to provide additional security over your account. Once enabled, when you login on subsequent attempts, you will be prompted to enter a six-digit code which you can locate in your multi-step authentication app of choice. The following apps are supported:

Duo Mobile
freeOTP Authenticator
Google Authenticator
Microsoft Authenticator
Twilio Authy

|| Note: The code isn't sent as a push notification to your mobile device.

| To login after setting up multi-step authentication:

Navigate to the MyInterskill login page
Enter your username
Enter your password and click Log In
Open your authentication app
Locate MyInterskill
Enter the 6-digit code displayed in the app on the MyInterskill verification screen and click Log In

Forgotten MyInterskill password

If you have forgotten your password to log onto MyInterskill, it is easy to request a password reset link.

| To request a password reset:

Visit Forgot your password? or click the 'Forgot your password' link on the sign in screen
Enter your login ID (usually your email address)
Complete the CAPTCHA verification
Click Reset Your Password

MyInterskill will send you a password reset email. The link in the password reset email will be valid for 48 hours only. If you don't reset your password within this period you will need to repeat the process.

|| Password requirements:

When you create a password for MyInterskill, it must be at least 8 characters long and abide by the following rules:

be between 8 and 64 characters long
contain at least one lowercase character (a-z)
contain at least one uppercase character (A-Z)
contain at least one number (0-9)
contain at least one special character (!@#$%^&*)

Download a copy of my IBM Professional Certificate

The IBM Professional Certificate program is administered by IBMs credentialing partner, Credly. Certificates of achievement are available from Credly for each IBM certificate earnt and can be viewed online, shared, downloaded, and printed.

| To download a certificate of achievement from Credly:

Log into Credly (link opens in a new window).
Select a certificate from your Dashboard.
The IBM Professional Certificate and its details will load. Click the green Share button at the top right of the page.
From the sharing options, select the Print tab.
Click Download PDF. This will export your achievement as a downloadable PDF certificate.

MyInterskill supports multi-step authentication to provide additional security over your account. Once enabled, when you login on subsequent attempts, you will be prompted to enter a six-digit code which you can locate in your multi-step authentication app of choice. The following apps are supported:

Microsoft Authenticator
Twilio Authy

Multi-step authentication can be enabled on the Account Settings page.

|| Note: If you hold administration access or manage the accounts of other team members, multi-step authentication is enforced and cannot be disabled. You will be required configure it during the log in process when you first access MyInterskill with administrator privileges.

| To enable multi-step authentication:

Log into MyInterskill
Click Account Settings from the main menu on the left-hand side of the screen
Your account profile will be displayed. Scroll down to the Security section
Click Manage multi-step authentication
Open your preferred authentication app on your mobile device
Scan the QR code displayed by MyInterskill with the authenticator app
If you cannot scan the QR code, enter the **code **manually as instructed by MyInterskill
Enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app to confirm for MyInterskill the authentication key has been setup correctly
Enter your password to confirm the change
Click Save
